We enjoyed our stay at the York Priory because of the location, parking, good food, friendliness of the staff and just the overall break.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was good for a short break in York, just a short walk into the city, managemable with a 2 and 5 year old in tow. Really nice breakfast and plenty of choice.
The weekend we stayed was really warm and as the room we were in was a the top of the house it was really hot and airless. The window opened but was at quite a low level so not ideal for little ones.

We had a fantastic stay at the York Priory, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the cooked breakfast were surperb!! The hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from York City Centre, we walked into York every day via the river which was a great way to walk off some of the huge breakfast that you got!! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would certainly use it again next time we stay in York.
